Terms & cancellation policy

Bookings
A booking is confirmed when we reply in writing with a time. Single therapies need no deposit. Packages over NPR 15,000 and all Panchakarma programmes require a 25% deposit, which holds the therapists and the room.
Cancellation
- Single therapy: free up to 12 hours before. Later than that, 50% of the treatment price.
- Packages: free up to 48 hours before. Later than that, the deposit is retained.
- Panchakarma: free up to 7 days before. Within 7 days, the deposit is retained; within 48 hours, 50% of the programme price.
- No-shows are charged in full.
- If we cancel, or our screening finds you should not be treated, you are refunded in full.
Late arrival
We hold your slot for 15 minutes. Beyond that the session is shortened to protect the guest booked after you, and the full price applies.
Health disclosure
You must tell us about pregnancy, medication, recent surgery, injuries, cardiac conditions, diabetes, blood-thinning drugs, cancer treatment and infectious illness before treatment. We may decline or adapt a therapy on clinical grounds, and reserve the right to require clearance from your doctor.
Ayurvedic therapy at Prakritik Ayurveda Spa complements medical care. It does not diagnose, treat or cure disease, and nothing said here or by our staff replaces advice from a qualified physician.
Conduct
All treatments are strictly therapeutic. Any sexual request, comment or behaviour ends the session immediately, is charged in full, and is reported. Our therapists have the unconditional right to stop a treatment and leave the room. Arriving intoxicated is grounds for refusal.
Gift vouchers
Valid twelve months from issue, transferable, redeemable against any treatment or package, and not exchangeable for cash. Unused balances remain on the voucher until expiry.
Liability
We carry professional indemnity insurance. Our liability is limited to the price of the treatment except where the law provides otherwise. Bring valuables into the treatment room or use the lockers provided; we cannot be responsible for items left in public areas.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and disputes fall to the courts of Pokhara.
