Privacy policy
Last reviewed August 2026. This is a template — have it reviewed against Nepal's Individual Privacy Act 2075 and, if you take EU guests' data, the GDPR, before launch.
What we collect
Booking details (name, phone, email, appointment times), and the health information you give us in the consultation — medical history, medication, pregnancy, allergies and current complaints. We collect health data for one reason: treating you safely.
How we use it
- To confirm, change and remind you about appointments.
- To design treatment plans and record what was done.
- To contact you about a treatment you have booked.
- To send occasional offers — only if you asked us to, and every message carries an unsubscribe.
Who sees it
Your consultation record is visible to the practitioners treating you and to our clinical director. It is not shared with anyone else, sold, or used for advertising. We disclose records only with your written consent or where the law compels us.
How long we keep it
Clinical records for seven years, as clinical practice requires. Booking and contact records for three years after your last visit. Marketing consent until you withdraw it.
The website
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers by default. If analytics are added later, this section must be updated to name the provider, the data collected and the retention period, and a consent banner added where consent is legally required.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email hello@prakritikayurveda.com or write to us at the address below; we respond within 30 days.
